According to a letter written by Willie in 1953, the Ennis' were family friends who lived at 8 Grovesnor Road, Rathgar.
"Christina Ennis died on the 23rd of January 1872 - my little Darling Child. Mary Ennis entered the Convent of Mercy, Harolds Cross in Oct 1872 both gone to God."
