Dublin Dowlings |

Hi . . .This site comes about after my meeting Robert from Canada and his lovely wife Donna earlier this week. I've often shown relatives the family tree and documents compiled and collected by my Dad and his father over the years and passed on to me. The web seems like the perfect place to allow anyone in Australia, Canada, England or Dublin the chance to view them. Be warned. This is a labour of love, so it will evolve slowly, and no doubt somewhat sporadically. The links on the right will only work as I provide them with content. I'll begin by putting up the family tree, so you can all see where you are. I'm hoping that anyone connected with any of the various people mentioned here will add their own knowledge to the site. Who knows, we may even discover a lost relative or two. Love to you all. Rupert 4 October 2002 Technical stuffThese pages have been designed with Internet Explorer 6 set at 1024 x 768. They should look ok in other browsers and screen settings but, as a friend of mine would say, your mileage may vary. If you're not getting an optimum experience, upgrade your browser. Many of the images on the site are quite large, in order to give good quality. In general, most pages only contain one image of about 20-25 Kb. The map is a little larger. Mostly I spell dates out, but if I do use something like 02/02/02, as on the News page, then they are in the European format dd/mm/yy. |
